Well done to two of our students for each receiving a NSW Christian Independent Schools (CIS) Outstanding Sporting Achievement Award for 2019!

These awards are given to students who have achieved excellence at the National Level in the Year of Competition, and they are nominated by the CIS Primary or Secondary Sports Convenor.

Amy represented NSWCIS at the Primary Australian School Sport National Track & Field Championships in Darwin, and James represented NSWCIS at the Australian All Schools Championships in Perth last year.
Amy competed in the under 11s Girls Shot Put and placed 7th in Australia (and achieved a personal best in the process).
James competed in the under 14s 400m Boys Sprint and came 5th in Australia (and also achieved a personal best in his heat earlier in the day).

Well done to you both!
